Ezybale – MF2100 Series Balers play big role in niche bale business
In a world first, South Australian based hay producer and processor, E.L. Schuster & Son has developed a system for turning big square bales of hay and straw from their MF2190 and MF2170 square balers into more manageable and marketable small sized bales. Called Ezybale, the hay is the same premium quality, but in smaller packages and with about the same weight as a conventional bale, which has many advantages.

Graingrower Dennis Hobbs has made the successful transition to Controlled Traffic Farming at his family’s Warracknabeal property in the Victorian Mallee. Dennis made the move to farming in straight lines five years ago as part of a wholesale change to the way his 1416 hectare property, including leased country, was managed.

Challenger releases new ‘C’ series
AGCO Australia has announced the introduction of its new range of track and articulated tractors for 2009. They will be designated the ‘C’ series, following on from the highly successful ‘B’ series and the first units will arrive in Australia in March 2009.
AGCO’s engineers have focused on simplifying operator functions and improving performance and economy of the MT700C, MT800C and MT900C series track and articulated tractors while refining the tried and tested components used in the engine, transmission and track system. Read on »
First 4 metre tractor arrives in Dalby, QLD
The first ever factory built four metre tractor in Australia arrived in Dalby, Queensland last November. The 320hp Challenger MT765B tractor was built at Challenger’s state of the art production facility in Jackson, Minnesota in North America.
